Inspired by the peaceful colors of tea leaves and quiet garden mornings, our Green Tea Linen Fabric introduces a refreshing botanical shade to creative sewing. Its muted green tone offers an inviting connection to nature, making it a beautiful choice for projects that feel fresh, balanced, and easy to live with.

Unlike a vivid grass green or a deep forest shade, Green Tea brings color in a gentler way. It complements natural materials, simple silhouettes, and rooms filled with daylight. Whether used for an everyday garment or a handmade accent for the home, this linen creates a calm, organic atmosphere.

Made from 100% European flax linen and woven in Lithuania, the fabric undergoes an enzyme-washing process for a softened finish. Its approximately 205 gsm medium-weight construction supports a variety of sewing applications while retaining the naturally textured surface and breathable qualities associated with linen.

Create with Green Tea Linen

Think beyond traditional neutrals. This nature-inspired color offers plenty of possibilities for sewing projects with a botanical or modern countryside aesthetic.

  • Relaxed Apparel: Boxy linen tops, casual shirt dresses, pull-on skirts, and comfortable drawstring trousers.
  • Kitchen & Dining: Everyday aprons, cloth napkins, bread basket liners, and decorative table runners.
  • Garden-Inspired Home Décor: Throw pillow covers, textile accents, and casual curtain panels.
  • Creative Accessories: Reusable fabric bags, handmade pouches, and simple utility projects.

A Naturally Textured Finish

Linen’s distinctive surface comes from the structure of flax fibers. Fine slubs and small differences in yarn thickness are expected features of the fabric, giving finished projects an authentic, handcrafted appearance.

As with other colored natural textiles, Green Tea may vary slightly between dye lots. Its green undertones can also appear different depending on daylight, artificial lighting, and nearby colors.

For coordinated garments or matching household pieces, order the complete amount of fabric needed at the same time.

Bring a little of the outdoors into your creative space with Green Tea Linen—a welcoming green for sewing projects inspired by simple living and the beauty of nature.

Color Variation & Dye Lot Information

Linen is a natural fiber, and slight color variations may occur between dye lots.

Each batch may absorb dye a little differently.

To help ensure color consistency, we recommend ordering the full amount needed for your project at one time.

Orders placed separately may vary slightly in color.

These natural variations are part of the beauty of linen and are not considered a defect.

Linen Fabric Care & Guidelines

  • Before First Use: We recommend washing before use to allow for natural shrinkage. Linen will soften after the first wash.
  • Washing: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Do not bleach.
  • Drying: Air dry or tumble dry low.
  • Ironing: Iron while slightly damp for best results.
  • Natural Characteristics: Linen is an irregular fiber that may vary in thickness, creating a subtle slub or textured surface. This is normal and part of its natural beauty.
